The installation stretches over 5 kilometres (3 miles) and is made of a mix of glass and silicon. According to Rivelino, the web of roots connects and climbs across historic landmarks such as the Revolution Monument, the Palace of Fine Arts and the National Museum of Art, making it the biggest sculpture in the country.
